Metal seed backup solved fire and water years ago. It never solved the person who finds it. A steel plate on a shelf announces exactly what it is and invites exactly the wrong attention. Keepcrypt exists for that second problem, the one durability cannot touch.
Keepcrypt objects look like things every home already contains. A AAA battery. An M10 screw. A door hinge. Each one seals a few BIP39 words in engraved titanium, and no single object ever stores a full phrase. You distribute words across objects and places, so finding one thing exposes nothing. Distribution is the product.
The catalogue is three objects: the Cell, the Screw, and the Hinge.
Bodies are SS 304 stainless. The seed medium is titanium, engraved by you with the included carbide pen, sealed behind Viton FKM. Every unit ships blank, always. We never see, store, or recover a customer's seed, and no feature that breaks that rule will ever ship.
Keepcrypt is built by the team behind Bitwill, which works on the other half of the same problem, making sure crypto survives its owner. Keepcrypt keeps a seed safe from discovery. Bitwill keeps it reachable for the people who are supposed to inherit it.
